Tracy Bazar

Director of Taxes, Tracy Bazar, began her career with the Tax Collector in 1998 as a Customer Service Representative in the DMV section. In 2005, Tracy brought her skills to the office’s Finance Department where she served several years before being promoted as the director of taxes. Her areas of expertise include: Property Taxes; Tourist Development Taxes; and Tax Deed Applications. Tracy’s duties include the preparation of the annual tax roll. Tracy played an integral part in the conversion of the office’s tax collection and accounting software programs in 2007. A lifelong resident of Nassau County, Tracy enjoys time with her family, boating and the beach.

 

 
 

Director of Motor Services, Erica DuPree, began her career with the Tax Collector in 1995 as a customer service representative. In 2005, she was promoted to DMV supervisor and was instrumental in converting the offices DMV-related payment processing to an electronic format. In 2008, Erica became the Tax Collector’s first-ever Driver License Supervisor when the office took over the function from the State of Florida. In her present position as Director of Motor Services, Erica is responsible for all aspects of business related to motor vehicles, including: Driver Licenses; Vehicle Registrations and Titles; and Hunting & Fishing Permits. Erica was raised in Nassau County. In her spare time, she enjoys camping and participating in Girl Scouts with her daughter.

Bonnie Green

During her 22 years of service, Branch Manager Bonnie Green, has worked at each of the Tax Collector’s locations but is probably best known for her role at the Callahan location.  A native of Shreveport, LA, Bonnie began as a Customer Service Representative before being promoted to management. At the Callahan location, Bonnie also manages staff in the Hilliard and Fernandina Beach offices. She especially enjoys assisting customers who may feel overwhelmed by the complexities involved in their DMV and title transactions. Away from the office, Bonnie enjoys her family, reading and camping.

 

 
 

Finance Director, Chad Miller, is a lifelong resident of Nassau County and received his accounting degree from the University of North Florida. He has served more than a decade in the roll of Controller of First Coast Community Bank where he managed and budgeted more than 270 million dollars annually.  He is now responsible for the financial aspects of the Tax Collector’s office, including the distribution of tax revenues and management of the office’s budget.  Chad has a rich history of community service ranging from Chairing the America Cancer Society’s Relay for Life to volunteering with the Katie Ride for Life to his activity in the Amelia Community Theater and the Amelia Musical Playhouse. Chad is an avid fisherman and enjoys his time on the water.

Mitchell Wilson

Director of Operations & Technology, Mitchell Wilson brought about many of the technological advances utilized by the Tax Collector’s employees and its customers.  He has a dual position with the Tax Collector that includes not only the management of the office’s computer/network systems, but also responsibility for the equipment, buildings and spaces occupied by the Tax Collector.  Mitchell has created computer applications and training that increase efficiencies which have enabled the office to serve customers more quickly and completely. When he is not solving problems or improving workflow for employees and customers, Mitchell spends his free time racing his late model  race car. He grew up in Orange Park and is the father of triplets.
